The menthol tingle is subtle at first and then builds into a really nice warming sensation that lasts way longer than I expected. I was worried the aloe base would feel sticky but it absorbs clean and doesn't get tacky at all. Two ounces is smaller than my usual bottle but a little goes a long way.
